Volunteer to Help

Volunteering plays a crucial role in addiction recovery, fostering a supportive community for individuals seeking healing. Engaging in volunteer work enhances personal growth, helping individuals develop essential skills, boost self-esteem, and create meaningful relationships. By giving back, volunteers contribute to a culture of hope and resilience, ultimately aiding both their own personal journey and the journeys of others struggling with addiction. Anyone can volunteer including both those who have recovered and those who are not addicts

Social Committee

One of the objectives of the Fellowship Centre, as a not-for-profit organization registered under the Societies Act with the Province of Alberta, is: to provide recovery-oriented social activities in a safe and welcoming environment. A Social Committee is a group of individuals who come together to organize social activities with the goal of enhancing social interaction, fostering a sense of community, and boosting morale. Volunteers and particularly leaders are needed.

The Fellowship Centre has a monthly publication called the Recovery Compass. Articles in the Recovery Compass are directed towards supporting addiction recovery. Currently monthly circulation is approximately 120.
