Volunteers are at the heart of the South Edmonton Fellowship Centre. Volunteering can be a meaningful part of recovery, helping people build confidence, develop new skills, strengthen social connections, and find a renewed sense of purpose. By giving back, volunteers help create a welcoming community built on hope, compassion, and mutual support.
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life! Including people in recovery, family members, friends, and anyone who wants to make a positive difference in our community.
One of the objectives of the Fellowship Centre, as a not-for-profit organization registered under the Societies Act with the Province of Alberta, is: to provide recovery-oriented social activities in a safe and welcoming environment. A Social Committee is a group of individuals who come together to organize social activities with the goal of enhancing social interaction, fostering a sense of community, and boosting morale.
Help create fun, welcoming events that bring people together in recovery.
What you’ll do:
We’re especially looking for volunteer leaders to help coordinate the committee.
